Although he gets bullied, he makes the most out of middle school. He teaches the readers that when given the choice between being right or being kind, choose kind. I love this book so much, it has my heart utterly. Read it, even if it’s not for your age, read it. I will never stop recommending this amazing story."

"I absolutely loved this book! I had to read this for an education class I am taking in college but it did not feel like homework at all. This book is aimed at a younger audience but please do not let it stop you from reading it. I think adults need to read this book just as much-if not more than kids. This book dives into what kindness truly means and how you never truly know what someone else is going through. I think we need to be reminded of that-now more than ever. I loved the main character August and watching him grow throughout the book was a delight. The book was funny and relatable. I almost cried at certain parts. I could keep going but I will stop. PLEASE READ THIS BOOK! "
