Hurt people hurt people.Say there was a novel in which Holden Caulfield was an alcoholic and Lolita was a photographer’s assistant and, somehow, they met in Bright Lights, Big City. He’s blinded by love. She by ambition. Diary of an Oxygen Thief is an honest, hilarious, and heartrending novel, but above all, a very realistic account of what we do to each other and what we allow to have done to us.

"This is the worst book I’ve ever read. I was shocked to find out there are sequels. 0/10. "

"Diary of a raging misogynist would be a more appropriate title. Basically, a guy treats women like crap but wants you to feel bad for him because one woman embarrassed him. He tries to hard to be edgy but just comes off as pretentious and whiny, wanting a big pity party to boost his ego. 0/10 don't waste your time."
"This book is literal trash. At first, I thought this was fiction, but as I read on, I started to realize this is someone's actual life. I think the worst aspect of the book is that the author is so obsessed with himself that he actually thinks his life is worth writing about - it's really not remotely interesting. Rather than discussing his struggles with addiction & recovery (which could have made for interesting subject matter), the author writes about the most ridiculous, superficial bs like his dating woes, masturbation habits, real estate issues, and hatred of Midwestern winters. I wish I was exaggerating when I say this book is conceptually and prosaically the WORST book I've ever read. Honestly, it's not even worth the paper it's printed on."
