Crank. Glass. Ice. Crystal. Whatever you call it, it's all the same: a monster. And once it's got hold of you, this monster will never let you go. Kristina thinks she can control it. Now with a baby to care for, she's determined to be the one deciding when and how much, the one calling the shots. But the monster is too strong, and before she knows it, Kristina is back in its grips. She needs the monster to keep going, to face the pressures of day-to-day life. She needs it to feel alive. Once again the monster takes over Kristina's life and she will do anything for it, including giving up the one person who gives her the unconditional love she craves -- her baby. The sequel to Crank, this is the continuing story of Kristina and her descent back to hell. Told in verse, it's a harrowing and disturbing look at addiction and the damage that it inflicts.

"I loved this book. Janie Julliard has loved Daniel Glass since college. She is sure her drama professor is Mr right. Only problem he's engaged to a perfect ballerina Natasha Jurgen. They get married and then Natasha dies. Janie is sure it her fault for wishing they would break up. She gets offered a movie roll and is hesitant until she finds out Daniel is the director. Things get sticky and Daniel is not only the director but now he's her leading man. Janie battles cancer an survived. In the end love does conquer all and she and Daniel have a beautiful baby boy Gabriel and are happily married. proof that life can have a HEA!"

"It was like rubber-necking on a bad car accident, you shouldn't look but you can't help yourself and can't look away. I knew she was going to go back to it, the monster, and I knew she would do something even worse then before. I definitely didn't see all the twists and turns she would take to get herself to the epic crash and burn. I was so immersed in her world of addiction, sex, love, lust, and hate that I found it hard to come up for air. I can't believe some of these things happened to the author's daughter. I have listened to talks about the effects of drugs like meth on your body, your brain and your family and your very life but this book brought it life. Like you were watching it on the big screen. Someday, I hope that will be the case."
