"Plagues are usually a no for me. I did not care for the level of detail given to some of the medical stuff, though it was interesting to hear from Xander. The romance in the series is meh but the philosophical questions drew me in for the other two books. There wasnt as much philosophy in this one. I definitely thought it was more interesting when the main characters were separated and thinking about each other, idealizing one another, than when they were together. "
"I liked Reached best of the books in the Matched Trilogy. It was very well written and had a better plot than the other two books. The first book is pretty much just the whole love triangle thing and honestly, that's getting pretty old, but is still to be expected of books. The second book, I don't remember very well and I'm not sure why but I don't but I do recall it being confusing and boring. It also made Reached confusing since I remembered Hunter, but not Vick or Eli. Anyways, Crossed is pretty much just Cassia running away and living out in the carving (which I understood was a canyon.) Reached, it seems, actually has a point and more of a concrete plot. The rebellion (which is actually the city taking over itself --kinda dumb, in my opinion) is taking over and so they unleashed a plague, which they have a cure for, but it becomes mutated and they don't have a cure for the mutation. So Ky, Xander, and Cassia set out, each in their own way to find each other, love, and a cure. I liked how this book is from ALL of the main character's perspectives. It made it interesting to read and definately bugs the reader at times because they know something that one of the characters doesn't, but needs to. Reading from Xander's perspective only made me love him even more :) One Major thing that made me love this book was the love triangle. The guys weren't fighting over the girl, and none of them were being drama queens. They were simply accepting one another's choices, and got along well. It was nice to hhave a love triangle for once without the drama. Overall, I really liked this book, more than Crossed and Matched and I am glad I read this series :)"
