"Not a popular opjnion here.
Dnf! I got bored 1/4 way in. The idea is interesting but storyline is turtle pace. I was listening to the audi book, even tried speeding it up to get to the interesting part, nada.
The plot is around a woman who suicides because she was told that once you die, you go to that library with endless options, so she does because she regrets all her life. So a dark start right, then she goes there and it's blah blah blah.. boring 😴 I didn't even get to her choosing a door.

"*WARNING THIS REVIEW WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS* Ummm, I liked it but didn't love it like I thought I would... The beginning started off great and tugged at my heart strings a bit and I was like "Okay nice concept of a midnight library". I definitely liked how the cover tied into the story, it was pretty cool to find out that revelation. But then the story kept going on and on and on, you know? By the time I made it past 150 pages, I was getting bored and losing interest fast. Which sucks because I really wanted to love this book. I like the many different lives Nora got to experience and see what she was missing out on, but after reading the first 3 lives I already knew the outcome and I caught myself sighing soo much and that is never a good sign in my opinion. I liked how depression, panic attacks and stuff was brought into this story but I don't know, maybe I've seen way too many movies about living different lives only to realize your actual life is worth living but this was pretty predictable. "A real thinker. A great opportunity to shift your perspective and stop the treadmill of comparison and what-ifs. "

"Wow! If you have ever been overloaded with regrets in your life and the paths you took or wished you had taken, this is a great read. The Midnight Library gives our herione a chance to lead the lives she could have, had she made other decisions along the way of her life. Its very well written and is full of so many thought provoking nuggets that its a keeper for me to be read every few years to remind me of the possibilities floating around in myself.

"I’m only giving this a 3/5 because it was predictable however the philosophical talks in this book had me thinking and appreciating life more! I found it hard to picture the character because I think the only description of her was long black hair and 35. Overall glad I read this but definitely not my favorite, if you want a quick read tho this is for you"
"Interesting concept that was executed well by the author without making the story confusing. Really enjoyed the audio version!"
