Scott has been a case of arrested development ever since his firefighter father died when he was seven. He's now reached his mid-20s having achieved little, chasing a dream of becoming a tattoo artist that seems far out of reach. As his ambitious younger sister heads off to college, Scott is still living with his exhausted ER nurse mother and spends his days smoking weed, hanging with the guys — Oscar, Igor and Richie — and secretly hooking up with his childhood friend Kelsey. But when his mother starts dating a loudmouth firefighter named Ray, it sets off a chain of events that will force Scott to grapple with his grief and take his first tentative steps toward moving forward in life.

"Enjoyable if the humor is to your liking as it is to mine . It is a life drama and it does slow down in certain parts of the movie but for me that wait pays off with some heartfelt moments . Losing a parent sucks to put it mildly so if you can relate to that maybe it’ll hit for u as well . Only thing for me is it felt like it was missing a small something as it felt like it ended too soon but other than that I thought it was a solid flick . 7ish/10"
"This was surprisingly sweet. Also had me laughing out loud!"

"I know a lot of people don’t take Pete Davidson seriously, but I thought this was well done! He was still stupid & goofy of course, but it was nice to see a different side of him too. And the rest of the cast!!!! Bill Burr, Steve Buscemi, Pamela Adlon, Maude Apatow, Pauline Chalamet, Jimmy Tatro, Marisa Tomei, MGK?? So good. I wanted more from the end, but still really enjoyed. Very sweet tribute to Pete’s father."
