The impressionistic story of a Texas family in the 1950s. The film follows the life journey of the eldest son, Jack, through the innocence of childhood to his disillusioned adult years as he tries to reconcile a complicated relationship with his father. "It's a literal piece of **** film. The visuals and music are beautiful until they start the story. The story is shot on a vertical angle and is not told well at all.
A total crap movie unless you really try to give it meaning as fans of the movie will. Think of a classic novel that was written with no meaning in mind, but your high school teacher insisted that the author had a grand point and meaning for it all. "
