"This movie means a lot to me personally. It's sad and tends to scare some who have never dealt with the mental health system. I suggest that one watch this with open heart and open mind. "

"This is the closest I’ve seen to a pretty good Depiction of a mental Institution, I mean being based of a book of a woman in a real one really comes off here I’d say. No one is overtly violent, you won’t see Straight jackets just people who where Cast aside by society and loved ones because they where “to Difficult deal with.” You can have conversations, make friends and even build a community in these places, sure there might be hick ups but they need to be humanized and are in this movie at least."

"It was so much young talent in this film. From Winona Ryder Angelina Jolie the late Brittany Murphy and even a 16 year old Elizabeth Moss. One thing that I love about 90’s movies u get to see a lot prime actors all in one film. Angelina Jolie performance was was terrifying in a good way I see why she won Oscar. Film came out 22 years ago and still holds up and can be applied to today dealing with mental health."
