"Saw the play first. It follows the story pretty well but the grim filming of the picture drags all of the play’s energy. It was almost grim. Eastwood was the absolute WRONG choice to direct “Jersey Boys”. This isn’t because there’s a lack of talent but rather a lack of energy and fun necessary to capture the true life of the story. "
