"Just ok for me. I’ve never been a big Stiller fan and mainly watched because of the backstory with the kids. It’s not real funny and my heart never got warm enough to cry. And I cry at everything. I guess it’s not a bad distraction. "

I will admit that going into this movie, I didn't expect it to be as deep - based on the movie's trailer alone, I thought it was going to be a solid comedy - but I was thoroughly impressed and proved wrong. The cinematography was unique and eye-catching, too. All around, if you're looking for a fresh Christmas movie that goes against the norm, then this movie is definitely worth a watch. "

"A beautiful, original and heart warming story that feels real and authentic. Ben Stiller is back after a 7 year acting hiatus because of this special story in a new kind of role for him. The boys in this film really are brothers and do a fantastic job acting the parts. In fact, they are not actors, they are friends of filmmaker David Gordon Green and he actually wrote the story because of them (although the story is not based on a true story). Linda Cardellini has a somewhat smaller part as the social worker but is charming and likeable as always . I loved this movie and I’d love to see it become a new favorite! "
