There’s no way the brilliance of the original could be matched probably even with a huge budget which this does not have, so the build up is truncated resulting in much less attachment to the story and characters. But it still manages to muster some suspense and a little bit of heart. And Kurt Russell is always a plus. "

"I watched this movie with my siblings and we enjoyed it for a “near death” type of movie. It certainly was interesting but to be honest, it’s one of the most forgettable movies I’ve ever seen. I forgot almost everything the next day. But maybe that’s just me. "
