"In my opinion, as a casual fan at best, this is the best thing Star Wars has put out in a very long time. Also, has to win for highest budget for a tv series. I’m one of the youngest first gen fans, being eight when the first one came out. This one is set about 100 years after that. Just superb. Great fight scenes, really cool new characters (and some questionable ones. STZ’s???), and several different plot lines to continue both forward and back. But, and like all good, new Stars Wars offshoots should be, this is made for children. Every generation has their own trilogy, for lack of a better term. I just hope whatever new movies they make upcoming they use these characters. But to someone who knows more than me, were we supposed to already know who Ezra is?"
"Dave Filoni knows what he’s doing with this series. I mean, he is the guy who created Ahsoka in Rebels. The only nit-pick I have was the reunion of Sabine and Ezra… I feel like maybe the chemistry and/or direction was off there. I guess I expected a bit more emotion or excitement with the two reuniting. Other than that, first season is great. "
"Epic show that brings a lot of elements from the animated Star Wars shows. It also brings the best villain in Star Wars since Vader into live action (Thrawn). Season 1 ends with a bang and the best episode of the bunch (also setting up a season 2). Hopefully we will see more of the Mortis gods hinted at the end of Ahsoka since that was one of the best arcs in Clone Wars. There's lots of awesome lightsaber fights as well including against a night sister (using a magic blade)."
"I grew up on Star Wars the original trilogy and I can’t understand why so many people crap on the newer stuff. It’s okay to understand that most likely nothing will be as good as the original and the 2nd two trilogies definitely fit that description… but they were still good. Ashoka is surprisingly awesome so far and I can honestly not understand any of the negative things I’ve heard about it. It’s a very good show and worth watching "
"Dave Filoni has been a blessing to the Star Wars universe since the first Mando season but I do notice a quality in the season finales for the most recent two shows. Ashoka is no exception. First off, I love how this show evokes the classic "Star Wars" feel. The acting was superb, every character felt like they were ripped straight from the animated series, especially Thrawn and Ezra. The fight choreography was beautiful as well. This show was a good mix of nostalgia and something completely new that expands the SW universe. My only gripe, which is a big one, is that the last 10 min of the finale felt really anticlimactic after what was building up to be one of the best Star wars shows in a while. Overall this is a solid show and look forward to season 2 and the improvements they make. "
