The “Seven Deadly Sins”—a group of evil knights who conspired to overthrow the kingdom of Britannia—were said to have been eradicated by the Holy Knights, although some claim that they still live. Ten years later, the Holy Knights have staged a Coup d'état and assassinated the king, becoming the new, tyrannical rulers of the kingdom. Elizabeth, the king's only daughter, sets out on a journey to find the “Seven Deadly Sins,” and to enlist their help in taking back the kingdom.

"I think this show was really well done, and I was thrilled that there are also movies that include some cool and fun characters that the audience doesn't meet until the very end - plus the Sins themselves! I honestly couldn't get enough of this. only critique is that it's kind of weird that Elizabeth is only 16. "

"i have very mixed opinions about this show. let me start off by saying, when i was in the psych ward all i had with me was volumes 3 and 4 of the manga and i had to read it over and over for 19 days. so i might be a little biased. this show is perfect if you want something light and stupid to laugh at but also be really grossed out by. season one was ok, then it just got confusing. at some point it sounded like all the characters were voiced by the same person and it really threw me off.. "
