"This series is based directly from a comic book series of the same name, written by my favorite comic book writer, Garth Ennis. They did a fabulous job staying true to the source material although they had to tone it down a little bit for the sake of television viewers. A couple of casting choices were questionable but turned out to be fine. Dominic Cooper as Jesse Custer and Joseph Gilgun as Cassidy were perfectly cast in their respective roles. I would have loved to see a hard R rated version on somewhere like HBO so the story could be told how it was meant to be, but as it stands, still 9/10."

"Still working through this one. I sort of forget about it, then remember and binge it for a couple days. I love the flawed characters, the fights, the artistry of it. Pretty gory, very violent but in an over the top comic book way. I love what an awful preacher he is. I love how much Tulip kicks ass, and Cassidy is just my favorite. "
