what i love about dahlia lounge, other than always finding delicious menu options is that they are flexible with switching out the starch choices from one dish to another. whether it’s smashed potatoes, rice or a pappardelle root vegetable, they will gladly accommodate me.

this is an interesting sushi spot. i’m not a fan of the sauce they put on all their sushi but make sure to ask them for no sauce and for tamari on the side and they’ll bring it. their sushi chef is japanese and the fish is quite fresh. also, their age dashi tofu is very authentic. and it’s fried in cornstarch, not flour. ask for the broth to be made with tamari. delicious.
