Books like the Poppy War, just as brutal and well written (can have a happy ending doesn’t have to though) I need to feel something after finishing the Burning God. I really loved reading the book through Rin’s eyes she may have been my favorite protagonist I’ve read this year. #poppywar#fantasy#slowburnfromhell
