I'm looking for lesser known INDIE DRAMA MOVIES with heart that are also aesthetically pleasing. Something like Sweet Bean, Lars and the Real Girl, or In the Aisles. I'm ok with a quirky character, but I'm tired of indie movies with purposefully ugly settings and characters thrown in for the sole purpose to be ugly. Please nothing mainstream or Hollywood. Any language or country is fine. No cheesy Kdramas, Hallmark-type movies, or basic NY romcoms. (I know I'm picky, sorry.)
