OMG, Oreo!! What an amazing hidden gem of a classic I had never heard of. It has to be one of the most clever books I have ever read. Not traditional in its structure and riddled with puns and humor, this is a satirical version of the Theseus myth with Oreo, a half Jewish half black young woman, as Theseus. Has anyone else read it? What did you think? (I have just re familiarized myself with the Theseus myth and am going to reread Oreo immediately. This is a top fave book, for sure!)
