Amazon Prime Originals

Without Remorse

For Tom Clancy fans and Michael B. Jordan fans, the day of fevered anticipation has finally come. Without Remorse is new on Prime Video now. It tells the suspenseful story of John Kelly as he uncovers an international conspiracy theory that threatens to unravel into calamity. Driven by a thirst for vengeance over the murder of his pregnant wife, Kelly, he is in no mood for playing games. If you’re ready for a bit of shock and awe, buckle up and don’t look back with Without Remorse.

What happens when a Black couple (Deborah Ayorinde and Ashley Thomas) and their two daughters move into Compton, an all white neighborhood, in the 1950s? Lena Waithe and Little Marvin seek to answer that question for us in this breakthrough horror anthology series. This historically inspired drama reminds us of not only our dark past but the present fissure lines that threaten to keep us apart. Make sure to check out this Amazon Prime Video new release on April 9, 2021.

Movies to Stream

Before Borat caught Rudy Giuliani red-handed in a NY city apartment, provocateur Sasha Baron Cohen was up to his usual antics. In Bruno, he plays a gay Austrian fashion journalist who explores the depths of America. Through interactions with Paula Abdul, Ron Paul, and other everyday Americans, Bruno’s shenanigans may make you cringe or laugh or perhaps a bit of both. Bruno will be available on Prime Video on April 1st.

How to Train Your Dragon

After three hit movies, the How to Train Your Dragon series has continued to inspire audiences to take flight and befriend those we fear. Check out the movie that started it all with Hiccup, a young Viking seeking to prove his worth, Astrid, his do-it-all companion and crush, and Toothless, a seemingly dangerous and rare breed of dragon. Are dragons friends or foes? Can humans and dragons co-exist? This animated classic from Dreamworks has it all. Check it out on Prime Video on April 1st.

Blair Witch

If supernatural horror is your thing, check out Blair Witch, the third installment of the Blair Witch Project series. Shot in vintage found footage style, director Adam Wingard takes viewers on a mysterious and terrifying journey into the Black Hills Forest of Maryland where they investigate the peculiarities surrounding the prior disappearance of Heather Donahue, the sister of one of the main characters. Don’t miss the release which is coming soon to Amazon Prime.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall

What happens when you and your new girlfriend find your ex and her new boyfriend on vacation at the same Hawaiian resort? Forgetting Sarah Marshall answers this inexplicable question with star power from Jason Segel, Kristen Bell, Mila Kunis, and Russell Brand. Amidst competition, jealousy, regret, and love, this classic 2008 Rom-Com traces a comical yet compelling emotional canvas of romantic relationships from romantic sparks to woeful regrets to acceptance and contentment. Check it out on April 1st.

Minority Report

Can’t wait for Top Gun 2 and need your Tom Cruise fix? Check out Minority Report and enter this 2054 world where a bit of psychic technology has re-envisioned the role of police from crime resolution to crime prevention. Tom Cruise stars as Chief John Anderton, the head of a “precrime” unit mobilized to intervene in “future crimes.” 19 years after the film’s initial release, this film’s complex themes have never been more relevant with predictive AI from big tech companies like Amazon and Microsoft increasingly finding their place in law enforcement and the military.
