P!nk: All I Know So Far

This Prime Video Original is a documentary that features singer P!NK during her “Beautiful Trauma” world tour. Although we may view the lives of pop stars as all glitz and glamour, this documentary shows us the behind the scenes of hard work and sweat. P!NK has to balance being a mother, wife, and superstar performer, which we will all see in this documentary. You won’t want to miss this and it’s new on Amazon Prime Video this May 2021!

The Age of Adaline

For some of us, never aging seems like a dream, however The Age of Adaline is a romantic drama film that tells a different story. After getting into a car accident at the age of 29, Adaline Bowman (played by Blake Lively) stops physically aging. As Adaline grows older, she realizes that her life and relationships will never be the same. The Age of Adaline is new on Amazon Prime Video now!

The Green Hornet

Superhero movie The Green Hornet was written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg and stars Seth Rogen, Taiwanese singer Jay Chou, Christoph Waltz, and Cameron Diaz. The film, as you may guess, is based on the superhero character Green Hornet. Rogen and Chou’s characters Britt Reid and Kato team up to fight against criminal Chudnofsky (Waltz). Although there are plenty of action-packed superhero scenes, it’s also comedic, in true Seth Rogen-fashion. The Green Hornet is new on Prime Video now!

Aliens

Aliens is a sci-fi action movie that’s intense and intriguing. Lieutenant Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) is the only survivor after aliens attack her spaceship. Ripley ends up on a journey to investigate where the aliens originated from along with a troop of colonial marines. Weaver’s performance was so compelling that it received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress. Aliens is now even considered to be one of the greatest films of the 80s and one of the best sci-fi films ever made.

Almost Famous

Aspiring young journalist William Miller (played by Patrick Fugit) tricks his way into writing a piece for Rolling Stone. He ends up on the road with Stillwater, a rock band, and has many incredible experiences. This comedy-drama received four Academy Award nominations and won the award for Best Original Screenplay. In addition to that, it has been ranked as one of the greatest films of all time.

The Da Vinci Code

Robert Langdon (played by Tom Hanks) is a professor at Harvard who becomes a suspect in the murder of Louvre curator Jacques Sauniere. On Sauniere’s body, there is a mysterious code that must be deciphered. With the help of cryptologist Sophie Neveu (played by Audrey Tautou), Langdon escapes and begins a journey to find the Holy Grail, an important treasure.

The Sixth Sense

Supernatural psychological thriller The Sixth Sense is a must-watch for any thriller fans. Bruce Willis stars as a child psychologist with a patient who can talk to the dead. The film was praised for its ending, spooky atmosphere, and overall plot. It was also nominated for six Academy Awards, an uncommon feat for thriller films!

The Underground Railroad

In an alternate reality, the Underground Railroad was a literal railroad that American slaves used to find freedom and escape from the South. Director Barry Jenkins (who directed Moonlight) explores this alternate reality in this new Prime Video Original series. Given that Jenkins is the director, we know that the storytelling of this series will be incredibly. Make sure to watch this new Amazon series this May 2021.

Panic

We’ve all seen plenty of high school grad movies and shows. In Panic, however, the usual happy-go-lucky version of those shows is replaced by thriller scenes that will keep you on the edge of your seat. A group of recent high school grads play a dangerous game where they are forced to confront their deepest, darkest fears. This Amazon Prime Video Original is new on Prime Video this May 2021.
