New on Showtime this July 2021 is a Showtime Original documentary The One and Only Dick Gregory. This documentary details the life of activist and pop-culture phenomenon Dick Gregory. Gregory was a man who incited change and fought for gender equity and civil rights. The documentary will include archival footage and reflections from Gregory, as well as interviews from modern artists. Check out The One and Only Dick Gregory starting July 4th

Kevin Garnett: Anything Is Possible 

Kevin Garnett was the first NBA player to go professional directly out of high school in two decades. He then became one of the greatest power forwards of all time and this new Showtime Original documentary will dive into his career for a better look. 

American Psycho

A young Wall Street banker named Patrick Bateman (played by Christian Bale)  lives a wealthy lifestyle while keeping a dark secret–he’s actually a self-proclaimed “American psycho” and a serial killer. The film is dark, violent, and still satirical and has a cult-following now. Check out American Psycho and its standalone sequel American Psycho 2 are available on Showtime starting July 1st

Erin Brockovich

Biographical drama Erin Brockovich details the story of Erin Brockvich (played by Julia Roberts), a woman who uncovered a scandal from the Pacific Gas and Electric Company in which they contaminated water in a town. Additionally, for her performance as Brockvich, Julia Roberts won an Academy Award for Best Actress!

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

A couple, played by Kate Winslet and Jim Carrey, decide to undergo a medical procedure to erase each other from their memories after they break up. Through a non-linear narrative style, the film explores the couple’s relationship and their memories. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind has received countless awards and accolades for its incredible portrayal of love and romance. If you aren’t afraid of a little heartbreak, give it a watch starting July 1st

The End

The End is a new dark comedy show on Showtime that will be released starting July 18th. The End features three generations of a family that are all dealing with issues of death, morality, emotions, and family in different parts of the world. The series was filmed in Queensland, Australia and is Showtime’s latest international series.
