"Oliver was taken as a child, he turns up after 22 years. His childhood best friend Sydney (neighbours) is shocked to come face to face after so long apart.
The story opens with Oliver being found and reunited with his childhood friends back in their neighborhood. Sydney is also being stocked and there have been a series of break-ins at her place leaving her severely traumatized. Such a great start!

Thrilling and really fast paced but then it got so boring. I was searching for answers on what really happened that night Oliver went missing or more clues as to who this stalker was. What I disliked, was that you have a guy who crawls up from a whole after 22 years without the slightest signs of trauma or ptsd. What you find is him being exposed to dating and introduced to Tinder?! Wtf. Just wasn't convincing. Just couldn't connect with his character. Sydney on the other hand, shows the most trauma and even discribes her own PTSD to Oliver as an affect of his disappearance all these years. This stalls the love/romance factor of the story. Was I the only one completely thrown off by the Raccoon part?! Ok. Like let's discuss anything but the issues and sexual tensions. Lol

So frustrating right till the last 4 chapters when it starts picking up again and all secrets come out. Finally!! I didn't love this. The **** wasnt great, cheesy at some parts. The CONSTANT use of words like 'insatiable' by Oliver (isolated 22years but he sounds like hes been educated)
The epilogue was unnecessary considering I barely cared to finish this after 70%. It dragged on.
3.75⭐️"
