"Pretty good story. Its like harry potter met scooby doo without scooby doo haha.
The main lead is 11 years old with a celebrity mom and an absent dad. Her mom wants her to be perfect to match her image as celebrity single mom (subplot) so she sends her to a boarding school, before she goes the girl gets a letter from ' her dad' and she uncovers a secret. I believe it's a good story but as an adult I found it missing some explanations. It's about friendships and struggles. One scene I found to be more adult than juvenile but other than that I recommend. No spice and nothing extreme. "

"I was reading it, but got bored  just like Harry Potter except there’s no magic. A kid goes to a new school plays a sport and tries to uncover secrets with their two best friends a clueless boy and a head strong her girl. Not bad but come on-"

"Fun little secret society middle grade set in English boarding school. <br/><br/>PS. It surprised me that this was published after I stopped reading middle grade and still the 12 year old main character was born before me haha. I was not 10 in 2019. Really, I know that's surprising."
