Ari Abrams has always been fascinated by the weather, and she loves almost everything about her job as a TV meteorologist. Ari, who runs on sunshine and optimism, is at her wits’ end. The only person who seems to understand how she feels is sweet but reserved sports reporter Russell Barringer. In the aftermath of a disastrous holiday party, Ari and Russell decide to team up to solve their bosses’ relationship issues. Between secret gifts and double dates, they start nudging their bosses back together. But their well-meaning meddling backfires when the real chemistry builds between Ari and Russell. Working closely with Russell means allowing him to get to know parts of herself that Ari keeps hidden from everyone. Will he be able to embrace her dark clouds as well as her clear skies?

"Finally a MMC that isn’t the typical underwear model! Breath of fresh air to have a male character that’s insecure in his body and isn’t crazy cocky about everything. Very likable characters. Good amount of comedy while dealing with realistic topics such as MMC being a single dad who hasn’t dated in years, and depression in the FMC. Slow burn but once it starts it’s🔥🔥"
"one of my favorite romances i’ve read so far!"

"This is one of the only books that has a realistic/tolerable third act breakup to me. It felt like such a massive call out towards me not gonna lie. I find it weird how it took me reading this book to realize I let my fears get in the way between me and sustaining a relationship😭.
Other than that this is a really good read for when you’re looking for something on the lighter side. I read it in one day and it was pretty enjoyable.
If I’m being honest I didn’t really care for the ML, but I wholeheartedly love the FL!
It was a pretty easy read for me since I love all of the parent trap/wacky hijinks aspect of romcoms."
"Personally, a part of the book that stood out to me was when Torrance and Seth revealed they were trying to get Ari and Russel together 😊 Made me want to read the book again to try to pick up on any clues they gave. If you have Instagram, I wrote review of the book! My bookstagram is love_the_book_nook"

"3.5

This was cute. I appreciated how Solomon included an MC that struggles with depression and I liked the LI, but like…something about this didnt click like Ex Talk for me. I still enjoyed it, I just didn’t care as much for the relationship as I did before. Oh, but I did appreciate how the MC takes responsibility for some of her mistakes."
