The band of misfit heroes are all 3 dimensional and uniquely singular. I loved the dynamics between Sorasa and Dom especially, though Corayne and Andry were also an intriguing pairing. Spoiler alert: I loved the plot twist of Erida becoming a villain and marrying Taristan. I did not see it coming. I cannot wait to read the next book."
