"Oh boy. The book starts off sort of slow but builds quickly after. Although the main character, Ruby, is a teenager that doesn’t mean the author had to make her the most insufferable character to ever exist. Every chapter to somehow make yourself read the worse it is to put up with Ruby. i finished the book, i’m not sure how but it took a long time, just stupidly hoping for a character arc for Ruby. At a certain point, a little past mid-way through the book, situations seem random and forced. Maybe i’m just dumb or maybe bc the plot was so bad and it was so painful to keep dealing with ruby. Waste of time. "
