"This was for sure one of my least favorite AC books I’ve read. It was good in the beginning and the end, but the middle dragged on and I had a hard time getting into it. I put this book aside so many times for other books which is unusual for me because typically I power read through an AC novel."
"Late Poirot was never my favorite... The series become invested with what I can only describe as bitterness for young people near the end of Christie's career, but usually is so inaccurate-feeling that it's just funny. THIS one however I kind of liked. The story is super confused and convoluted and the ending sounds really dumb, but the characters were delightful and relatable, at least for me. Besides that, a terrible book. Shocking for Christie, even so late."
