"A solid retelling of the spider-man origin as it takes its time to make us care about Peter and Uncle Ben. The rest of the series also builds on this foundation well growing Peter as character and the world around him. I may not have enjoyed every reimagined character but a lot of care was put into them and I appreciate it. It’s a dialogue is naturalistic and messy with people miss-saying things and casually homophobia sayings (it was originally published in the 90s). It takes place outside of the main Marvel universe and in the ultimate universe."

"This is a great way to break into the world of not only Spider-Man but comics as a whole. Great storytelling and it keeps you intrigued. Overall, I recommend picking up book 1, rather than this so you can read more of this series. #spiderman "
