"Wow I thought this book was going to be a 5 star without doubt, but I just found it so terribly boring. I listened to it on audiobook and while I thought the narrator did a great job, maybe that was part of the reason? I’m really not sure why I found it so boring. Maybe it was just my mood these past few weeks? <br/><br/>Because normally I’m really into political intrigue—which is basically 100% of what this book is. I thought anyway!! Maybe I just need more than political intrigue to care about it. All the conversations about colonialism and the nuance of the characters was really well done so I just do not know why this didn’t hit for me, but unfortunately I had to force myself to finish"
