"This is the second book of the Immortals series and I have to say I was a little upset. The book progressed at a constantly confusing and quick pace, and though I know it was a stylistic choice, it left me feeling rushed. I like the writing and the general idea of the character, especially since you couldn't tell, along with the main character Ever, if she was actually making the right choices.
However, I honestly felt like the last book ended in an okay place and this sequel felt pushed. The ending also didn't make any sense with the character and undid any lesson she mightve learned through out the book, replacing it with a horrible consequence she shouldn't have had to face. It leaves us on a cliffhanger that of course is going to get me to read the next book, but I feel like I would be reading it out of a state of need and not want.
But if I had to reccomend it I would def say read the first one and then be prepared. "
