Agatha Christie
Monsieur Renauld dies on a golf course just days after sending a plea for help to detective Poirot. Since Renauld possessed a plundered fortune, a scorned wife, a mistress, and an estranged son, there is no lack of suspects. It's up to Poirot to put the police onto the culprit before more murders occur.

"A sequel filled with style and suspense. Agatha Christie again fills this story with twists and turns, and creates characters filled with personality and moral ambiguity. Poirot is charming and eccentric as usual, and there were secrets kept until the very end. The added side romance, although brief, is a welcome addition that I look forward to seeing more of further in the series. A fun, campy mystery. "
"Another great Christie mystery! Keeps you guessing until the very end."

"This is the first Agatha Christie book I've read, and it didn't disappoint! It has many unexpected twists and turns, and a cute touch of romance. It was written on the 1920s, so it has some outdated ideas about women, but overall it was a fantastic mystery. I can't wait to read the next one!"
