"I finished reading this book the other day. I read a lot of juvenile fantasy so everything that happened wasn't super surprising, what was surprising was the way it was written. The writing style that Jennifer Neilson used had you not Even knowing if the main character was lying or telling the truth. The MC kept so much from you that you really didnt know anymore than a side character would. Its written very well. This book has:morally gray characters, an intelligent and snarky MC, solid side characters, great world building, and an even better plot. Of you are more plot centric, this is for you. If you are more character centric, this is also for you. It does actually have both."
"I chose this book because I wanted to read something but I didn't knew what. I wasn't expecting it to be any good. I couldn't have been more wrong, this book was one of the books I've enjoyed the most, ever, the plot twists, the relationships between the characters... everything is incredibly well made. I haven't read it for a few years now, but I can still remember it perfectly. I did made a big impression on me."
"When I started this reading this book I immediately loved it. It's a great read full of twists and turns that you'll never see coming. It's an adventure that never grows old no matter how many times you read it. ( believe me, I've read it a lot!) And the characters are so memorable and realistic. Sometimes I forget I'm reading. I strongly recommend this to those who like: The beyonders The five-kingdoms Phoenix files Maze runner"
