"5/5. Riordan once again creates subtle character development, and it is what makes his stories. Typically, his books write themselves as the Greek myths have all mostly happened. Take Percy and Annabeth’s evolving relationship. It expands exponentially in this book. I never realized how jealous Annabeth truly is, and can I just say how freaking amazing Rachel Dare is? I love her. She is spunky and provides a refresher to the characters we all know and love."
