"This is a good book for black women starting out in corporate america.It features a healthy amount of commiseration followed by tips to get black women to (or back to) the table in corporate America. It is better advice for more mainstream aesthetics and type-A personalities; black women who experience additional discrimination around a disability, mental illness, or gender non-conformity may not get as much from this book or the steps it recommends. "
