"I'm not really into romance novels but this was good! I like short stories, especially when they are interlinked. It was nice to see each individual writer's writing style. I honestly want to read more from all of these authors.

This YA novel is follows 6 stories during a blackout in NYC. I did enjoy the different representation, we didn't just see 6 black straight couples, there was LQBTQ+ representation as well. My favorite story was the one written by Nic Stone.

I did have to keep reminding myself that the characters were kids. Some of them were so annoying but they're teenagers so they'll be annoying to me. I usually find characters in YA romance novels almost unbearable but will look past it because I kind of expect teens to be like that in real life about love.

All in all, it was a cute story and quick read!"
