"I actually loved this. From the subject matter, to the location, to the author’s (often hilarious) voice, every part of this appealed to me. And while I highly doubt I can achieve every aspect of living Danishly outside of, you know, Denmark, I think there were a lot of great lessons to be taken from this. I mostly picked this up because Scandinavia fascinates me, but I ended up with some self-help knowledge that I didn’t expect. And my goodness, did some of this make me laugh! It honestly read like a much more professional and polished version (you know, like what a journalist would publish) of the blog posts I used to write when I studied abroad. The mishaps are what makes the experience, if you ask me. I knew I really loved this when I started actually tearing up at the end, and I’m just really invested in the author’s Danish life. It was really great, and it certainly makes me want to visit Denmark!"
