"Knowing vaguely the story of Carmilla, I was excited going into this! It really was interesting seeing how gradual it became in that Carmilla was not all that she seemed. Of course, I was won over by the often sapphic undertones and was just interested in both Carmilla and Laura’s relationship while also knowing it would all go wrong by the end. Great book!"
"Classic Vampire tale. I read the version edited by Carmen Maria Machado and it was a real queer treat. Like “Dracula” but short and sweet. "
