"This was a great retelling of 1001 Arabian Nights! I started this book for my English class and ended up not having to read it anymore which is why it took me some time to finish it. I recommend this book, the characters are all so unique and special which only makes this book so much better! Also, I just love Khalid and Shahrzad!"

"I would give it 3.5-4 star rating. The character journeys in it were PHENOMENAL. You absolutely fall for Shazi and Khalid as they fight to overcome the torrid situation they find themselves in. They both have good reason to want the other dead. They must fight the urge to kill one another, while also fighting the desire to betray their missions and be together. What I didn’t care for was the underlying plot. There was a lot that was not very clear and a lot of lose ends that needed tying. BUT I think it’s worth a read just for the characters driven aspect. 👏🏻♥️"
