""You're one of the chosen, here for the party." <br/><br/>Welcome to the Dark House has such a cool synopsis - I've been wanting to read this book for a long time. However, I feel like there ended up being a lot of missed potential. There were too many characters with their own chapters, and it was difficult to keep everyone straight. Everytime I would get interested in someone's chapter and be excited about where the story was heading, it would switch over to someone else's storyline. The instalove relationships and one character's obsession with her brother ended up feeling exhausting. That being said, I did love the setup of this book, and I was still entertained while reading it. I feel like one of the big twists was super predictable, and also was unrealistic. This book just didn't really head in a plausible direction. I'm also not a huge fan of the first book in a series being incomplete so that you're basically forced to read the next one to get the full story. I'm curious about what happens, but not sure if I'm curious enough to read the next book."
