"This is a manga adaptation of Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility. I found this story fun to read in the different format. I thought the art style was intriguing throughout my read. There's something about reading Austen's books in manga format that makes the story seem so new and refreshed, especially this particular book.

An ARC was given to me by NetGalley as an exchange for an honest review."
"reading this book AGAIN. I just love it. Her writing is amazing. I have seen no other writer that compares."

"Sense and Sensibility is a story about two sisters: Elinor and Marianne Dashwood, whose mother is obsessed with meddling and involving herself in her daughters' courtship efforts and playing match-maker. The story is told from the perspective of the older sister, Elinor. Elinor represents the 'sensible', while Marianne is romantic and dramatic. The story takes readers through the different paths that each of the sisters take on love, loss, and marriage.

This was my first Jane Austen novel and I am happy to say that I was not disappointed. I will definitely be reading more Austen in the future. My favourite part about this book was the character development: there were some characters that you love and some that just irritate you, making you feel more sympathetic towards the sisters.

Although I enjoyed the novel overall, its strong point can also be its downfall, depending on the reader: character development. The middle of the book became slow and uneventful, and instead focused on the characters' feelings & behaviours (made charcters more relateable & human). This character development was needed to appreciate the ending, but while reading it, I was tempted to skip chapters -- I didn't, but I was tempted some times."
"As the first of Jane Austen's books I've read, I enjoyed it much more than anticipated! I was expecting it to be similar to [b:Jane Eyre|10210|Jane Eyre|Charlotte Brontë|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1557343311l/10210._SY75_.jpg|2977639], which was far too dull and monotonous for my liking. Instead, I found myself going through this book much quicker because I was interested in what was happening! Very pleased."

"My favorite Jane Austen book is by far pride and prejudice. Right now I’m reading the Kiss of Deception. There are a few things I would change about it but overall it’s actually really good"
