I expected this to be more of the horror genre, but would probably put this more into a cozy witchy genre, but this was still a fun read. I am also impressed with this author, as I never thought I would read a book that could make me look at spiders in anything but fear, but this one did it."

There were a few creepy moments especially towards the middle but not nearly as many as I had expected. Definitely a much lighter book than I was anticipating with far less doom and gloom. The writing style was perfect for me and I plan on following this author for the rest of time. I must outlive her so I can read the rest of her work."
