The perfect balance of storytelling and life lessons. You truly learn what makes him tick, as well as all of his faults. Partnering with Mark Manson was a great choice. I don’t know how you couldn’t read this if you were a kid in the 90’s."

I appreciated how open and candid he was, especially when reflecting on some of his not so great moments (family conflicts, relationship issues, financial situations, etc)."

It all seemed very surface and he lacked the humility to really delve deep and offer something more than the curated/branded Will Smith we already know. This read did however make me long for a DJ Jazzy Jeff memoir."

I started reading this book prior to the Chris Rock incident but reading this book made me understand his actions. Although I do not agree with his actions or condone violence, it gives insight to his immediate reaction. I would read this book again and recommend everyone to read it too."

Will's hard work and dedication to his craft give us the movies and music we all know and love but this book let's us see the man. He reveals the intimate truths that led to the discovery of his inner peace. You can really have it all and until you find peace within, it means nothing. Excellent book. Couldn't put it down."
