"Desperate for a good superhero narrative, I picked this up. I have almost no words for how much of an atrocity it is. Main character says almost word for word that she's trying to be scared when randomly faced with a supervillain threatening her but he's so hot she just can't. Every person turns out to be "good", with a horrible cheesy way of talking, zero thought to identities or a purpose to any action they do, and everyone dates everyone for no actual reason. I skimmed the first four books in two hours (they're short) because I was so shocked I thought maybe it was satire. It's beyond the worst fanfiction imaginable. How are there like 40 of these?!"
