"Again this book has great depth and world-building. Samantha never disappoints on that front. Still, we are left with the same hopelessness and the same glacier pace romance. It's just a bit much to stay in the stagnate pool. Also, I realize wars are not won in a day. Samantha is giving us the real deal and I admire that. And The Mime Order had a very clever ending but I don't think I will be continuing the series. While I like and enjoy this book the pacing is frustrating me. I was partway through book three and realized I wouldn't get answers or progression to the romance I was so desperate for. So for my sanity it stops here."
