"If you enjoy historical fiction this has everything. A 1900’s tale of a young girl learning the ways of the Midwife during a time when there’s a shift in mindset and medical delivery. Throw in a pandemic, and living in rural Nova Scotia where even electricity is a commodity this is a very enlightening tale. The subject matter is well researched and delivered to the reader beautifully. "
