"Well, these were incredibly creepy and I enjoyed almost all of them. Night Shift is an excellent short story collection. My favorites: The Boogeyman, Sometimes They Come Back, The Lawnmower Man, Quitters Inc., The Man Who Loved Flowers, One for the Road, Strawberry Spring, The Mangler, I Know What You Need, and Children of the Corn. I loved it!"
"Just finished this book! It being an accumulation of his first short stories, I told myself I would read one and do other stuff. It was literally a just one more chapter type of read. He left me hungry for the next story! This one does include children of the corn and graveyard shift. "
"I have several, it just depends on the genre 🤓"

"I couldn't even begin to choose. His earliest: Carrie, Cujo, Salems Lot, Pet Semetery i will still pick up now and then. The Stand was great. So was IT. I love his short stories too, though: tge mist, Shawshank Redemption, The Body (Stand By Me(..latest novel I read was 11/23/1963, great story about time travel but in a way different than I've ever read before. The Green Mile is in my top 5 for sure. But i really can't possibly choose a definite favorite . his writing is so prolific."
