Throwing himself into the wilderness of single parenting, Russ embarks on a journey at once terrifying and rewarding -- one that will test his abilities and his emotional resources beyond anything he's ever imagined. When a chance encounter with an old flame tempts him to take a chance on love again, he will navigate this new opportunity with trepidation and wonder. But with the loyal support of his parents, the wisdom of his older sister, Marge, and in the hard-won lessons of fatherhood, Russ will finally come to understand the true nature of unconditional love -- that it is a treasure to be bestowed, not earned.

"Was excited since I usually love Nicholas sparks. Slow burn. Just wasn’t a huge fan of this one"
"@chelseawrightreads I just finished reading Verity by Colleen Hoover, the ending was unexpected.... Still trying to process it. The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri is an excellent read, the book is way better than the movie. Hope these help. If you're thinking of reading something written by Nicholas Sparks, the only other books I've read written by him are Something Borrowed and Something Blue. Hope these help with your next read 😊"
"Not my favorite book by Nicholas Sparks but it does have a very touching and powerful message behind the book. I struggled with getting into the book but was determined to finish it and after several attempts at the book I finally was able to finish. It doesn't have the same feeling and writing that his other books offer and I think this different style is why I struggled so much with this book."

You get to see such sweet and touching moments and also moments of complete turmoil! Once you start reading about the life of Russ Green, you won’t be able to quit! "
