Ginny Blackstone thought that the biggest adventure of her life was behind her. She spent last summer traveling around Europe, following the tasks her aunt Peg laid out in a series of letters before she died. When someone stole Ginny's backpack—and the last little blue envelope inside—she resigned herself to never knowing how it was supposed to end. Months later, a mysterious boy contacts Ginny from London, saying he's found her bag. Finally, Ginny can finish what she started. But instead of ending her journey, the last letter starts a new adventure—one filled with old friends, new loves, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Ginny finds she must hold on to her wits . . . and her heart. This time, there are no instructions.

"I think this rounded out the first book really well. I had some lingering questions from the first one (I think that was how it was supposed to be) and they were answered in this one. I didn't particularly care for Keith in the first one, so I was glad for the addition of not only his girlfriend, but Oliver as well. I thought the foursome brought a better dynamic to the second story.

We get to see Richard a bit more in this novel and I was glad for that. I really liked him in the first one but thought we didn't get enough face time with this character. What I didn't really expect though, was the development of their relationship as uncle and niece. While I don't think they truly act like uncle and niece, they do pull together like a new family and certainly do have a strong bond that was forged by Ginny's aunt.

The conclusion on this was more satisfying than the first, although we really don't see an ending to the book as I would have liked to have seen. Despite that, I really did enjoy the story, I liked reading about Ginny going back to the places she's already been. Some of it felt like it was on repeat, but as a whole, it was enjoyable."
