"I was given a copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review. I'm so happy to have had a opportunity to read this incredible book! "Paper Targets: Art Can Be Murder" by Steve S. Saroff was unlike any book I have ever read before. The writing style was extremely unique, almost like a journal that explored the innermost thoughts and actions of the main character Enzi. The flow of the book followed the life of Enzi and was written in a way that captured the confusion, and the chaotic nature of some of the chapters in his life. It was an incredible thriller, that always left me wondering what would happen next. All of the characters were unique and dynamic. I enjoyed the diversity of all the characters and how they were relatable to human follies. I was also impressed that the main character Enzi showed resilience and adaptability for an individual with severe dyslexia. Dyslexia isn't commonly portrayed in the media, I can't think of many movies, TV shows, or books that feature an individual with dyslexia as the main character. It was refreshing to see dyslexia portrayed in book, and for the main character to exceed all expectations of what others thought of him. Dyslexia isn't acknowledged enough in mainstream media, and I'm thrilled to see it depicted in a way that is realistic and a real-world insight into the struggles that an individual with dyslexia could encounter throughout their life. All in all, I truly enjoyed this book! I want to give a huge thank you to the author for reaching out to me personally to offer me a copy, I am so thrilled to have read such a wonderful book!
