"I could not finish this book. I stopped at 63% after trying to get through it. The characters are so one-dimensional and all talk like they are 12 years old, despite being grown adults. The FMC is so amazing and special and she can do crazy things with magic that she has never practiced despite only having access to her magic for like 3 days??

My biggest complaint with this book is the writing. The grammar is consistently bad throughout the book and the author uses so many commas where the sentences should have ended. The characters are not well written and they all feel the same. This book really needed another editor. It also felt very much like YA despite having content that is not suitable for younger readers.

The concept for this book was interesting and it could have been good, but this book was not it.
"
