"it was better than the first one for sure. the concepts of how vampires came to be in this universe are really interesting! certainly the best parts were those stories of Egyptian gods and such. also in general I like the way Lestat's voice in writing sounds better than Louis who seemed creepy to me personally. if the the third book finds it way to me I'll read it otherwise I'm definitely not going to buy it and I'm not going to try too hard to seek it out."

I've read it once every year since I got it and it never gets old. The story is so tragic but defiant as well and after reading Interview first it really helps put Lestat's character and choices into clear perspective. Fantastic book 10/10"
